Stew meat is Lisa's choice for beef stew. Using the pressure cooker, saute in some butter or lard. Add water and cook to your pressure cooker instructions. While cooking, saute onions, carrots, and celery in a large stock pot. Always use a liberal amount of fat. Salt & pepper to taste. Add some flour (organic sprouted grain flour works great), and the stock and meat from the pressure cooker. Simmer. While that is going, add cut potatoes to the pressure cooker and cook. When done, strain out the potatoes, add to the simmering stew (salt and pepper again), and voila! Beef stew!
